Types of Massage

Swedish Massage - This traditional method of massage involves friction, effleurage, and kneading to loosen and soothe tight, sore muscles. Also increases circulation and improves overall skin and muscle tone. Pressure can range from very light to very firm.

Medical Massage - Typically recommended by a physician, our licensed massage therapists can offer therapeutic treatments to designated areas. Including range of motion and stretching techniques.

Deep Tissue Massage - Relieves and prevents prolonged muscle tension, soreness, and over-use. This massage targets specific areas and muscles allowing the body to reach complete relaxation.

Myofascial Release - Massage that addresses the body's connective tissue which is connected to the muscles, organs and bones of the body. It uses a prolonged light pressure, along with client movement. Myofascial sessions focus on specific body areas.

Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy- Targeted pressure to specific points to release muscle counteraction and improve overall muscle health including nerve function.

Reiki - Japanese system of healing. It is a gentle yet powerful procedure that brings all aspects of the receivers being into harmonious balance.

CranioSacral - CranioSacral Therapy (CST), developed by osteopathic doctor John Upledger, requires a light touch to correct imbalances in the membranes in which cerebrospinal fluid circulates. Patients remain fully clothed as the therapist applies gentle pressure to the skull and key tissues of the body. CST is particularly effective for treating headaches, neck and shoulder problems, swelling and many other conditions.

Reflexology - Targeted pressure to specific points on the feet, believed to stimulate and relax the associated areas of the body.
