Frequently Asked Questions

We believe in a balanced approach to healing and focus on your needs during the sessions. Your wellness is what's most important to us. For those who are new to massage, here are answers to some commonly asked questions regarding your visit.

When Should I Arrive?
For an optimal experience, plan to arrive a little early before the scheduled time of your massage. This way, if you are delayed on your way to the appointment, you won't feel rushed and won't be adding extra stress on yourself before a session aimed at relaxing the body and easing stress and its affects. Also, it is a good idea not to plan on being anywhere too soon after the massage, so you can leave the session retaining the full affect of the massage.

How Do I Prepare For My Massage?
•Remove all jewelry that could interfere with your massage.
• Remove contact lenses.
• To get the most out of your massage, turn off your cell phone.
• Undress to the point where you feel comfortable.
• Lie on the table under the sheets.

What Should I Do During My Massage For Best Results?

• allow yourself to release emotions. Occasionally during massage emotions can be triggered. Do not feel embarrased, if you wish to cry -do so. If you want to laugh, feel free. Our therapists are trained to work through these emotional releases. If you wish to talk about it, rest assured the conversation will remain completely confidential. Please understand however, our therapists are not trained in psychology and are instructed not to give feedback. They are simply prepared to listen. So, if you need to get it off of your chest, feel free.

• drink a lot of water.
